Dos and Don’ts:
- Should not enter the
temple till the completion of 11 days if
birth or deaths happens in their families.
- Ladies should not
enter the temple during menstruation.
- Ladies with the
pregnancy after 7 months should not entry
the temple.
- Drunkards are not
allowed inside the temple.
- Should not touch the
well inside the temple.
- Entry into the temple
is without footwear only.
- People with epidemic
diseases should not enter the temple.
- Smoking and spitting
inside the temple is strictly prohibited.
- Should not burn
camphor, incense sticks inside the temple.
- Photography is
strictly prohibited inside the temple.
- Devotees performing
“Sashtanga Namaskara” to the goddess are
requested not to disturb fellow devotees.
- No Auspicious
functions should be performed in the village
after Mari Pooja till the end of annual
Jathra. The devotees who were present during
mari pooja should persent in the village
till the end of annual Jathra. The Donations
(kanike) to the Goddess should be put into
the Hundi of present it in the counter and
obtain the receipt immediately
- Devotees who want to
perform seva should take the receipt from
the seva counter.
- The devotees who wants
to present saree, Patte, bell or other
materials should present if in the counter
and collect the receipt immediately.
- For booking the
marriage hall contact Executive officer of
the temple.
- Donations to the
temple through M.O, D.D, Cheque may be sent
to the “Executive officer, Shree Durga
Parameshwari Temple, Mandarthi, Udupi Taluk
and district”.
- The devotees who want
to book the Yakshagana seva have to register
their name paying Rs 105/- in the temple
office and obtain the receipt.
- The clenliness in the
temple as well as
should be maintained.
- Devotees are requested
to contribute for the proposed construction
of “Bhojana Shala” building and obtain
receipts.
